How Effective Is Hypnosis With Weight Loss?

Weight Loss

There is no “magic wand” when it comes to losing weight.

When it comes to losing weight there are medications, surgeries, and a zillion diets out there. Each option has its good points and bad points. Hypnosis is not a weight loss plan per se, but it can help you with motivation and releasing of the subconscious blocks that are preventing you from losing the weight you desire to lose. While hypnosis is great for quitting smoking, eating is not an all-or-nothing proposition. Even when you diet you still need to eat in order to maintain your health.

Every hypnotist approaches weight loss differently. One program that I previous used was from a training book which required the client to commit to a 12-week program. It was a good program, but I didn’t like how expensive it was for clients and I got the feeling it was more about the business model than it was for helping the client. If a client feels they are unsuccessful in the first couple of sessions they will feel they have wasted their money. If the client is super successful in the first couple of sessions they will feel they wasted their money on the extra unnecessary sessions.

What’s important to lose weight?

I found that all my training and all the books and hypnotic scripts I have reviewed that effective hypnosis for weight loss boiled down to just three elements:

  • The Metabolism
  • Cravings (especially for sugar)
  • Eating Habits and Behaviors.

So I stopped using the 12-week formula and I wrote and recorded three hypnosis sessions. I use them in my practice and take each issue one-at-a-time. Some clients can be successful if they just address one of the three elements while another may need to address all three. I also have specific issue sessions for individualized behaviors.

An inexpensive option.

If you are interested in a low cost way to use hypnosis to lose weight you can purchase a self-hypnosis ebook or any of three weight loss mp-3 recordings from my online store here.
